You will gain insights into the End of Life Choice Act 2019, exploring its key provisions and the processes it establishes for health professionals and patients alike. Additionally, the module will cover the assisted dying service and the various organisations involved in its implementation, including the SCENZ Practitioners Group and regulatory bodies such as the Registrar for Assisted Dying. By familiarising yourself with these entities and their roles, you will be better prepared to engage in informed discussions and provide appropriate support to individuals considering assisted dying.
